Description
The Perfomaster provides the hardware and software to generate, detect, and analyze a controlled spark discharge to produce a pulse signal. This pulse signal is available at the output connector and can be used to count the detected spark discharges and thus the perforations.
The miniaturized design of the Perfomaster houses both the electrode and the high-voltage power supply. It operates on 24V DC, eliminating the need for a high-voltage cable. The electrodes come standard with three emitters made of a special alloy and can be removed for replacement or remote placement.
A status indicator LED provides direct system information about the Perfomaster.
- A green LED indicates that the operation is OK.
- An intermittent red LED indicates a detected perforation.
The supply voltage and output voltage for the Perfomaster can be set in two ways:
- directly from the machine, e.g. via a PLC
- with additional external control kit
