It measures the fields generated by electrical charges. The pocket-sized device is handy and easy to use. It can measure (MEASURE) and store (HOLD) the value, allowing for contactless measurements in hard-to-reach places. An optical display indicates the correct measuring distance for repeated and accurate measurements. The conductive housing and a grounding connection facilitate precise measurements. Range switching is unnecessary, as the display covers a range of ±30 kV at a measuring distance of 25.4 mm (1). The electronics allow the device to be used in areas with ionized air. The device has a recorder output for recording the measured values via a 3.5 mm jack socket combined with the grounding connection.
