Description
The RA-3 series single-jet air curtains allow for the cooling, blowing off, or cleaning of cylindrical surfaces without excessive noise or increased air consumption. The compressed air jet is amplified 25 times.
principle
The tiny amount of compressed air escaping from the air curtain is catapulted at high speed through a 0.5 mm opening along the device. This creates an "air blade" that moves very quickly, drawing all the surrounding air with it to the targeted point. Air curtains are ideal for performing large-scale product cooling tasks or for cleaning large quantities of dust, shavings, oil, water, etc. Only a small volume of compressed air is required. And because the required amount of compressed air is so small, the noise level is also lower. Compared to other, conventional systems, reductions of up to 50 dB(A) can be achieved.
Air curtains cover a large area with a very fine stream of air (also called an air sword or air blade). The high-velocity air jet is evenly distributed along the entire length of the air curtain. Air curtains are ideal for fast-acting blow-off and drying applications.
