Description

With a 24V DC connection, small size, and no dead end, the VicinION is ideal for compact machines and processes. It operates using a patented high-voltage, high-frequency emitter design, enabling it to neutralize static electricity even at close range. Mounting is backward compatible with small Simco AC antistatic rods and uses M5 threaded screws. The VicinION features patented self-balancing ionization, making it suitable for critical applications requiring residual charges below 100V. The shortest rod length is 224 mm effective length (263 mm housing length). It is available in lengths from 17.5 mm to 1000 mm. The emitters are made of extremely durable tungsten and are specially shaped for maximum efficiency and a long service life. The VicinION receives its 24V DC power supply via a standard 5-pin M8 sensor/actuator connector. Furthermore, a monitoring signal (HV OK) and a remote on/off signal for remote control are available. A multi-colored LED provides status information on the operating state of the VicinION directly on the pole.
